Mandatory Training Day including Distance Learning / Online
This face to face full day course, covers statutory mandatory training and is delivered as a blended learning package. This course does not cover paediatric or new-born basic life support training and ACI should be contacted if these elements are required prior to the training day.

- Infection Prevention- including MRSA & Clostridium Difficile
- Manual Handling Refresher including legislation; spinal anatomy; ergonomics; biomechanics; unsafe practices and small handling aids with information on principles of hoist training
- Adult Basic Life Support- in line with the UK resuscitation Council Guidelines
- Basic Food Hygiene Awareness

Doctors, nurses, Healthcare assistants and support workers
Course pre-requisites
Previous Manual Handling Certificate valid within the last year. Candidates are required to have a reasonable degree of physical fitness to become involved in the practical element of the course. If any candidate has any known injuries this must be communicated prior to commencement of the course
Course Standard
Course is assessed and certificated. Relevant courses are mapped and aligned to the UK CSTF (Skills for Health) and Resuscitation Council UK guidelines 2025
