Course Overview

Our Basic Life Support / Resuscitation Level 2 Practical Training is designed to update and refresh the skills of healthcare professionals. The course covers:

• Recognising a Casualty

• Danger, Response, Shout, Airway, Breathing, Compressions

• Use of Defibrillator

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

• Choking (Adult, Child, and Baby)

• Recovery Position

• Use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

• Do Not Attempt Resuscitation (DNAR) Protocols

Practical Assessment

Participants will undergo a practical assessment using Adult, Junior, and Baby Resus Annie mannequins. This ensures hands-on experience and confidence in performing resuscitation techniques.

Webinar Delivery

Our training is delivered via a live webinar, allowing you to learn from the comfort of your home or workplace in Peterborough. You will receive a learning booklet and a multiple-choice question paper to complete after the course. Successful participants will be awarded a certificate upon completion.

This blended learning course includes a practical session delivered over live webinar with one of our experienced healthcare trainers. A learning booklet and MCQ question paper will be sent out after the course. Once the MCQ questions have been completed and returned certificates will be issued to successful participants. This course is practically assessed.
