Course Information
Students are required to declare physical fitness on a health questionnaire at course start. Course contains physical manual handling skills demonstration and assessment including use of hoists, slide sheets etc.
Who the Course is Aimed At
Nurses, carers, allied healthcare professionals in the workplace who are required to move and handle people. It is delivered in line with the All Wales Manual Handling Passport and is mapped and aligned to the UK CSTF (Skills for Health).
Method of Training
The course is very interactive and includes practical demonstration and practical assessment as well as assessment of learning.
