4 hours approximately. The course normally runs from 10am to 1pm or 2pm to 5pm
Course Information
This is a face-to-face training course that involves the theory and practical application and skills assessment for digital removal of faeces, administration of suppositories, administration of micro enemas.
Who the Course is Aimed At
Any health or social care worker who needs to understand the fundamentals of bowel care including the administration of suppositories and micro enemas.
Method of Training
- Face to Face only
- Realistic mannikins are used and the course is delivered by a Registered Nurse to assess competency.
