Benedict’s Law: What Your School Must Do by September 2026

Free checklist for schools: ensure you are compliant with the new statutory allergy & anaphylaxis guidance, without overwhelm

From September 2026, all UK schools must comply with new mandatory allergy safety guidance introduced following Benedict’s Law. This requires:

  • Staff trained in allergy awareness & anaphylaxis

  • Staff competent in Adrenaline Auto Injectors (AAIs)

  • Spare AAIs on site

  • Clear allergy policies & pupil action plans

To help schools prepare, we’ve created a free practical checklist outlining what you need to have in place, and where training is required.
